PODE!: Droplets of Nature Eco-Friendly Dish Washing Liquid

I haven't done a PODE (Project Overcome Domestic Entropy!) entry in a while, and after re-discovering this product at Sugarleaf's store over the weekend, I thought I to share this with you instead.

If it looks like dish washing soap and smells like dish washing soap, then it must be some kind of dish washing soap, right? Well, Droplets of Nature's Dish Washing Liquid (P156 for 250ml, P285 for 1L) sure doesn't look like dish washing soap, and smells like cinnamon and peppermint, so it definitely doesn't smell like dish washing soap, but it is! I love this stuff, it actually gets me excited to wash dishes!

Droplets of Nature, Inc. is a company that distributes eco-friendly and family-friendly products, targeting the growing number of families that value the use of healthy and naturally formulated consumer products, but are looking for less expensive alternatives.

Made from potato or corn based surfactant, which is listed as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the US Food & Drugs Administration. The stuff is highly concentrated, a tiny drop is enough for four to six plates, or you can mix five tablespoons of dish washing liquid with a cup of water for a more economical solution. Yet it's also very gentle on the hands, perfect for those with sensitive skin or psoriasis.

I just love washing the dishes with this soap, it smells so good! My only gripe is it doesn't take too well to removing oil, so this is perfect for a sammich and pasta girl like myself, but I'm not too sure how this would fare with your adobo, afritadas, and the fat-on-sugar-in-sebo dish, humba.

Free from paraben, phosphate, SLES, and harmful chemicals, this dish washing liquid is loaded with essential oils instead, making my dishes and glasses smell of peppermint with just a hint of cinnamon. Goodbye to the weird after smell of using ordinary dish washing soaps!
