The Yoga + 30-Day Challenge

One more day until May ends and June begins!

On my goals list this year is to go back to healthy living and a healthy lifestyle, which for me, also means going back to yoga. People attract everything they want in life, and with my putting out this intention in the universe, I accidentally stumbled across Yoga+'s Facebook, where they had just posted their 30-Day Challenge: The Yoga, Lifestyle and Meditation Edition.

Points are based on the honor system, and you post your points from the previous day up on the board, with big points going to taking a yoga class every day, and taking off points for eating white carbs, anything fried, or refined sugar - something I needed a change from, so I headed over to Yoga+ to check the classes and the studio out.

Digging the New Greenwich

After meeting with Greenwich's marketing department a week before (and being fed Overloaded Pizzas and Lasagna Supreme), I walked into the Greenwich store in Valero with the rest of the Schmuzers to check it out, and was surprised at how much has changed! You just have to love having to do your r&d - so stuffing our faces with pizza, pasta and buffalo wings come with the job. It really ain't easy, but someone's gotta do it!

Kuppa Roastery & Cafe: A Celebration of Good Food

Kuppa Roastery & Cafe hosted a food tasting for bloggers with Schmuzter co-hosting. My favorite coffee shop at BGC, not only do they serve quality, artisan roasted coffee, but they also have mouth-watering dishes now as well.

Seeking Protection at Wild Ones Tattoo

I had gotten inked at Wild Ones Tattoo two years ago to get a memorial tattoo for my father - the Arabic word, habibi, which means darling, on my arm, and a Middle Eastern star on my wrist..

A Day On the Isla Mujeres

Time seems to pass by ever so slowly on The Island of Women, but the day didn't seem to last as long as I'd have wanted it to. Located across the Bahia de Mujeres (Bay of Women) from Cancun, the island was originally a fishing village, but has now been overrun by tourists, yet it still retains its charm and tranquil atmosphere.

Rediscovering the Lost City of Chichén Itzá

One of the highlights of my Cancún holiday was visiting one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Kukulkan Pyramid, in one of the most ancient sites in the world, the ruins of Chichén Itzá.

R&R at The Westin Resort & Spa: Hola, Cancún!

Most of the best trips I had last year were totally unplanned. I was thinking of visiting family in Malaysia, and had zero plans of heading to New York after Groupon Philippines, but ended up booking a ticket for a plane that was scheduled to leave three days after I handed in my notice. Lori had mentioned she'd be going to L.A. for a favor for her nephew, so I figured, "Hey, I'll kick it with my uncle in New Jersey while she's away," but ended up in California anyway, which also led to a weekend in Vegas. I had also ended up going to Houston and Nashville as well... but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Domo Arigato, Roboto San: Japanese Grill Buffet

Domo arigato, Roboto San!

I was so stoked to find out that the creators of restaurant giants like SumoSam, Mr. Kurosawa, John & Yoko, and Marciano's had come up with a new baby - Roboto San: Japanese Grill Buffet!
